Story Overview
The first Venus War is over. Though Ishtar's campaign against Aphrodia was a success, Ishtar suffers from internal warfare as rival factions struggle for control of the postwar political landscape. With the regular military and the powerful Security Police claiming separate loyalties, Ishtar is a powder keg with a very short fuse.
