Story Overview
Lloyd, the assistant mage to the brilliant alchemist Ruby, has an unusually low success rate when it comes to gathering materials for alchemy. As a result, he is seen as a burden and becomes the laughingstock of the entire nation. Every day, he faces Ruby's scolding, and the oppressive atmosphere has become so unbearable that he has come to despise it. Finally, he makes the decision to part ways with her. However, what no one knows is that the materials Lloyd collects are actually rare, high-quality resources that no one else is able to obtain. Now, despite being labeled "incompetent" and having once believed it himself, Lloyd sets his sights on living a peaceful, carefree life.
